Create Website

It's because you're an owner, not a renter

Right after you sorted out with your perfect niche the next thing you need to do is to have your own website. Living in the digital world, a website is now a necessity for a business, big or small so that you can get online and reach out to many audiences. If you have a business and don’t have a website, your business might not be effective as it can be through websites. Your website will push your business into the online world where you will be able to grab hold of many opportunities. The online platform has a far wider reach than any other form of advertisement. However, there are little things you need to be aware of that is:

  1. Domain Name:
  2. A domain name is nothing but your own website name. It is an address where Internet users can have access to your website. A domain name is used for finding and identifying your websites on the Internet. Computers use IP addresses, which are a series of numbers. However, it is difficult for us humans to remember all strings of numbers. Hence, domain names were developed and used to identify entities on the Internet rather than using complex IP addresses.

A domain name can be any combination of letters and numbers, and it can be used in combination of the various domain name extensions, such as .com, .net and many more.

The domain name must be registered before you can use it. Every domain name has a unique id. There can’t be an existence of two websites with the same domain name. If someone types in www.e-thabak.com, it will go to my website and no one else’s.

The price of most of the domain names range from $10 to $20 per year. You can find them through Hostinger, BigRock, GoDaddy, etc.

  3. Web Hosting:
  4. Web hosting is a necessity for any website — it is the physical location of your website on the Internet. It is an online storage drive. It stacks up all the data such as images, videos, and other content that is required for your website. Websites data are stored on special computers called servers. When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address or domain into their browser. Their computer will directly connect them to the server of your websites which will be delivered to them through the browser. Most hosting companies require that you own your domain in order to host with them. If you do not have a domain, the hosting companies will help you purchase one.

The price of the hosting server varies from $2 to $10 per month. Hostinger and BigRock are the ones which I personally would recommend for Web Hosting Providers.

  5. Designing:
  6. Once we are finalized with domain name and hosting server, here comes the work of a website designer/developer. This can be tricky because most of us step back when the time to design our websites comes. This is due to the fact that we think we need to be a coding expert. Nevertheless, the good thing is you don’t need to be a programmer to build a website. Coding a site from scratch takes time. You might not have to spare if you’re running a small business or trying to get a website off the ground. There are plenty of “website builders” out there offering ways for anybody to design their website. After a series of research I found out that the combination of WordPress with page builders like Elementor Pro, Divi etc would be effective.

We have many free as well as premium tutorials available out there. They will guide you to build your own website without any complex coding or programming language. However, you can also consult with THAWAI who can help you to manage the website in a suitable way you want it to be. In fact, THAWAI designs this website.
